What Messages We Send

Zonde sends SMS text messages only for device alert notifications. Examples include:

We do not send marketing messages, promotional content, or advertisements via SMS.

How to Opt In

SMS alerts are entirely optional. To receive SMS alerts, you must:

Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in SMS messaging. You must actively opt in.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the alert rules you configure and the behavior of your monitored devices. You control which conditions trigger an alert and how often notifications are sent (via cooldown settings in the alert rules). Typical users receive fewer than 10 messages per month.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any Zonde SMS message to immediately opt out of all SMS alerts.

You can also opt out by removing your phone number or unchecking SMS consent in your Account Settings at app.zonde.io.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages from Zonde unless you opt in again.

Costs

Zonde does not charge for SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Supported Carriers

SMS alerts are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Delivery is subject to carrier network availability.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
